Glimpse of the future
The television shows us the Afghan refugee families getting out of the planes and walking through the telescopic gangway that connects the plane to the Roissy terminal.
This telescopic walkway is largely glazed and you can follow families for a few meters.
As the televisions loop these images over and over, the viewer eventually notices something.
These families are supposed to flee the Taliban and all the women are in Burqa, including the young people.
They have been in France since take off from Kabul and they are there forever.
No doubt we will be told that the opinion of women is unimportant and that they do not play politics.
This is the start of the sequel.
