Reflection on the PCF's reports to the public debate in the presidential campaign
1. Preamble
The object of a presidential campaign is to showcase the national capacities of a candidate and of the party to which he refers.
Fabien Roussel, the candidate of the French Communist Party (PCF), and this party, do they still have the capacity?
Polls which credit him with less than 2% of the vote seem to attest that he is out of the game for public debate and therefore elections.
However, other elements suggest that the PCF and therefore its candidate can still be at the center of public debates.
The stake for this party and also for France is that following this campaign, it again has a parliamentary group in the National Assembly.
2) - The feast of Humanity
On Saturday September 11, 2020, the only place where all parties and candidates, with the exception of the RN and Marine Le Pen, can come and debate as they think, is the Fête de l'Humanité.
The audience was stormy, passionate, but respectful.
It is therefore that the Communist Party, its culture, its partisan population, are the place where the fundamentals of French socio-political life are exposed.
When Valéry Pécresse, from the Right, wants to announce the paradigm shift of the French social system which is based on social contributions, she comes to discuss it at the Fête de l'Huma with the national secretary of the PCF, Fabien Roussel, because History and the legitimacy is there.
In doing so, he declares that he has a common basis for discussion with the right; rising wages.
Likewise, Gabriel Attal, Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, Government Spokesman, of the presidential party, went to discuss pensions with the Secretary General of the CGT. He did it in front of a popular audience.
The fact is encouraging:
a- Attal: I discussed with Philippe Martinez SG of the CGT. The atmosphere was lively, the words strong, but we were able to discuss everything.
b- "We expected the public to be rather hostile, but the debate is courteous," said a close friend of the government spokesperson.
c- At the end of the debate, Antoine is almost surprised by the atmosphere in which the exchange took place: “I am pleasantly surprised, I expected that they would not succeed at all. to talk to. "
d- Rachel believes that everyone has "done their job", but that "it will not change anyone's opinion"
It is not only the PCF, nor the left, which are present in these multiple debates.
It is also a certain composition of France, its history, its concerns, its reflections; a component of national unity.
Why not continue to dialogue with France, beyond the Festival?
3) - The subject of the debate
a- The goal is not to govern but to exceed 5% and keep a Group in the National Assembly.
b- The stake of the electoral debate is therefore not to win the election, not even to prepare for the victory of the second round, the band of morons dividing the left is already eliminated, but to place the Communist candidate on the places of obligatory passages of the political debate.
4) – Proposals
I propose various national reforms.
1- National
a- Legal parity as a substitute for competitive parity by Lionel Jospin, 1999.
b- The judiciary, therefore question of elections by universal suffrage.
2- Penal
c - The principle of "excessive consequences of a legal action" which would allow the police to act legally and without fear.
d- The penal substitution of the manipulating major for the manipulated minor.
e- The legal obligation to verbalize consent in sexual relations between minors and adults.
3- Youth
f- Constitution of a complete school course on the Internet for teaching the Sexual Body.
4- International
g- The renunciation of the unity of the two Korean states.
5) - The practice
The Communist candidate would find there material to address categories of populations and their public and political circles, without being subordinated to formal political divisions.
1- Women (The law)
2- The litigants including the victims (Compensation)
3- Law enforcement (Legal distancing)
4- Magistrates (Power)
5- Young people and knowledge
6- State personnel
a- Of course, that doesn't tell us anything about purchasing power, retirement age, economic recovery, etc.
b- This makes it possible to:
to chat passionately with many people.
subordinate competitors to this logic
Thus, feminists will be forced to slip into it.
None of these reforms clash with the laws and treaties in force.
The Communist candidate does not have the means to verbally transgress the rules in force. It no longer has the militant force capable of informing an entire country. It just wouldn't be audible.
It is a question of forcing the other candidates to fall under the nets of its proposals, to engage the winner there, and to place the PCF among the guarantors of the promises of the campaign.
From there, the PCF becomes, becomes again, one of the effective places of political debate.
This is called creating hope.
6) – Conclusion
Through this dialogue with the voters, the PCF would regain the national position it has acquired since 1934.
Voters would see it as a reason to vote him again.
The popular classes and France need a Communist Group in Parliament.
